Midnight Ride
A downloadable game
A small, 10 minute gameplay of my horror-horse project. I loved the idea, and I'm actually okay with the atmosphere. But this concept holds so much more than this. This is what I could do in around one and a half months, and at this point I really hope someone gets inspired by this and creates a horror game with horse riding, maxing out its potential.

Installation
- Unzip the
Windows.zipfile. - Open the unzipped folder.
- Launch
MidnightRide.exe.
Windows may show a security warning because the game is not digitally signed. If this happens, click More info → Run anyway.

Love the game so far! It kicks me off from the beginning but the concept is sweet :D
Oh no 😭 Do you mean the game crashes/kicks you back to desktop at the beginning? If you could tell me exactly when it happens, that would really help me figure it out and fix it!
No, sorry, I mean the horse starts out just bucking and rearing! I press the keys but it does it over and over, sorta like it started off path? I did get a bit into the forest after a few retries but then it started up again, there isn't really much time to divert it back to the "correct" path because it's in a near constant key minigame haha, hope that helps!!
Oh, maybe your michrophone is picking up the noise (if you use one). The horse bolts for loud noises, the sensitivity can be adjusted in the settings. Also you can press P if the horse is stuck. I really hope this helps and thank you for trying it out!
